Information will be presented to the discriminating reader in the most easily understood and most convenient manner.

Book subject will dictate  paper surface and  size, font and image size, binding method and cover material:

–  8.5 x 11-inch page permits larger images with more picture detail.

–  6 x 9-inch  pages are easier to handle and still produce images with satisfactory picture detail.

–   some bindings and covers will permit the book to easily flex two directions without damage, thus making them convenient to carry. The pages may fold back, keeping the reading area one-page size.

– non-gloss paper reduces page glare.

– photographs are placed nearest the text supporting the photograph (images are not confined to one section).
